Meander Valley Community Radio

Meander Valley Community Radio seeks to promote harmony and diversity and contribute to an inclusive cohesive and culturally diverse community.  We are here for the community to enjoy and utilize, to support local arts, music and community events.  We are a member/ sponsor/ grant run radio station that hopes to support real and perceived needs of Meander Valley. 

We broadcast from Latrobe to Prospect and all of Meander Valley in between to approximately 23,000 potential listeners.  We hope that at least 10% are on air with us 7 days a week; 24 hours a day.

Memberships are now due for 2017-2018. By joining you can show your support for the station.  Why not get involved by becoming an announcer and having your own show.

Open Days

We have open days between 11am - 2pm at the station.  Come down, say hi, and learn more about what we do.  We're located in the Creative Studios on Emu Bay Road in Deloraine.

  • Westbury Maypole Festival - 21st October 2017 Westbury Primary School is excited to be hosting the Westbury Maypole Festival, to be held at the Westbury Village Green on Saturday 21st October 2017 from 9am until 2pm.  It will be a fun and enjoyable family day for the school, local community and visitors. This event will celebrate the 130th Anniversary of Westbury Primary School.  The old bluestone building on Dexter Street was officially opened on 6th July 1887. The Westbury Maypole Festival will celebrate this rich history and showcase the Maypole dancing tradition that has been a part of our school community since 1973.
