Art Transplant

posted 27 Aug 2013, 23:19 by Unknown user

Here’s something quite unique to our Valley for those frustrated artist in all of us.

Art Transplant is a pop up art exhibition with a difference - The artists are you.

Local individuals and groups are invited to create their own fantastic pieces of art work.

Prose, poems, photos, drawings, paintings, songs or quotes: They could be created in 3D and then photographed, be graffiti, lino cuts, etched, however you want.

The theme is: "26TEN Get the Tools For Life"

Entries close September 16th 2013

Up to forty of the entries will be selected to be enlarged onto waterproof panels. These art pieces will be transplanted into unexpected places where art may not normally be seen during Westbury Week in October and the Deloraine Craft Fair in November.

A booklet of the selected entries will be produced and distributed throughout Westbury and Deloraine. Use the booklet to help track down the artworks. See if you can find all the pieces!!
