August is Fruit and Veg Month!

Australian adults are recommended to eat at least 5 serves of vegetables every day.  The amount for children depends on their age and activity levels.  But the reality is that most Tasmanians are not eating the recommended amounts of vegies per day.  What better way to celebrate this month than getting more vegies into your day!  You could take this on as your own personal challenge!  The Eat Well Tasmania Team has created a flier that highlights why you should get more vegies into your day, and ways to help you do that.  Print it out, pin it up, encourage your family, your friends, and your workmates to get extra vegies into their day…  If you can send them a tip about getting more vegies in your day, you could win a prize.
