On Saturday 27 April 2013, Arts Deloraine and Tasmanian Regional Arts, as part of Tasmanian Regional Arts 2013 Touring Program, presented the opening of the exhibition, A WILD PLACE by Carol Maney, at the Deloraine Deli.  We were lucky enough to have Carol here for the opening and to have her relate her stories.

Carol lives on the West Coast of Tasmania, where it is a constant source of inspiration and 'appreciation of place'.  Her love of the West Coast is reflected in the beauty and sublety of her work, hand coloured and colour digital photographs of various scenes from as far south as Derwent Bridge to as far north as Zeehan.

Go along and immerse yourself in the life and landscape of the Tasmania's rugged West Coast.

This exhibition is on until Friday 31 May 2013, at the Deloraine Deli, Emu Bay Road, Deloraine.

And don't forget, on Saturday 4 May 2013 at 10.30am, on Arts End, Nick Weare will be talking to Carol about her life and work.

Photographer and author, Carol Maney.
