Deloraine on the Move, the business association of Deloraine, has initiated a Fightback! Campaign in response to the economic downturn in Deloraine and district.  The Fightback! Campaign aims at bringing the community together in supporting locally available products and services.
The Fightback! Campaign has two elements:
•  a discounted Deloraine & District Gift Voucher and
•  a Deloraine & District Products and Services Guide
The Product and services Guide will be posted out to 2700 householders in the 7304 district.
180 businesses from the 7304 postal code district (including Deloraine, Chudleigh, Mole Creek, Elizabeth Town and Meander) have joined the campaign.
The Campaign is to be publicly launched by the Meander Valley Mayor Craig Perkins:

TIME:    5.30 pm
VENUE:  Great Western Tiers Visitor Centre, 98-100 Emu Bay Road, Deloraine.
Members of the general and business community have been invited.  The coordinator of the Fightback! Campaign Committee (Zsuzsanna Handelsmann) will explain the campaign and introduce the Mayor.
