Free Traffic Management Training

To community organisations in Meander Valley: 

Free Traffic Management Training

Council is providing training to members of local service and community groups who want to be able to run their own events in the road reserve. 

This Traffic Management training allows volunteers to control traffic and has been successfully completed by groups who run events such as fun runs, parades, AGFEST, and the Tasmanian Craft Fair. Without this training, events will have to buy in specialist contractors costing up to $1000 per day. 

Council are willing to follow up this training with assistance in terms of signage and development of traffic plans. 

Places are limited to 20. Please let me know ASAP if any of your volunteers are interested.

Implement Traffic Management Plan

Control Traffic with a Stop / Slow Bat 

Quercus Park, Carrick
Sat 12 April 2014
8.30 – 4.30 pm
FREE (normally $115 per person)
Lunch provided
