Some Thoughts on the Lessons From Conflict Past

ANZAC DAY means much to many in this country and to some it means more.
Many still remember the rigours of frontline conflict from wars fought in foreign lands against often unseen foes.
Their understanding of the true nature of conflict is almost impossible to convey and the message they convey is usually the same.

One such person is Deloraine local Peter Ashton.
A veteran of the Vietnam War, strong observer of Anzac Day and stalwart of the local community Peter has revisited his experiences and put his thoughts to paper.
In the lead up to the 99th Anzac Day it is worth taking a few minutes and reading them.
