Transported Convicts to Heroic Anzac

During the National Trust's Heritage Month, an Exhibition at Bowerbank Mill B&B and Art Gallery for the National Trust's Heritage Festival in May will present an interesting convict story of rags to riches, from poverty to prosperous. Photos, maps and information on the Old Bailey, London, convict ships, Murray, White, Littler family members, Norfolk Island, and early Van Diemen's Land.

An exhibition of the great grandson of two convicts - Australia's most decorated soldier, Lt colonel Harry Murray VC, with WW1 items, letters and photos of Harry Murray from private collections that have not previously been released or displayed will also be presented.

This exhibition will be here from Saturday 18th May, to Sunday 26th May, 10am - 4pm, or by appointment.  Entry is $5.00.
